The flowmeter serial number is constructed as follows:

where
PPP = Production factory (Siemens Flow Instruments: FDK)
Y = Production year (for encryption, see below)
M = Production month (for encryption, see below)
DD = Production date (for encryption, see below)
xxxxxx = Sequential number
