10.1 Device status symbols

Failure
Cause: Output signal does not represent process value. Device mode is set to "Out of service".
Action: Disable "Out of service" and activate normal operation mode.
Failure
Cause: Output signal invalid due to a parameter setting, an interconnection error or a configuration error in HW.
Action: Check device hardware configuration or parameter settings via HMI or engineering system.

specifica‐

Cause: Deviations from permissible ambient or process conditions determined by device (through self-monitoring, or faults
in device) indicate that measurement is uncertain, or deviations from set value in actuators is probably greater than expected
under normal operating conditions.
Process or ambient conditions will damage device or result in uncertain output.
Action: Check ambient temperature or process conditions. If possible, relocate device.
Function
check
Cause: Safety validation is not completed.
Action: Acknowledge safety event in menu Functional Safety and repeat the safety commissioning.
