Error/Event Codes

Error/event codes will be in the format "E###". Some of these are errors, some are warnings,
and some are purely informational. The first digits identify the type of error or event as identified
in the table below.
Cause
Alarm 1 channel 1 engaged (closed)
Alarm 2 channel 1 engaged (closed)
Alarm 3 channel 1 engaged (open)
Remedy
Use the correct pipet techniques. Refer to the Appendix
section.
Replace the reagent. Refer to Section 2, Analyzer Preparation.
Rinse the flow cell with deionized water. Flush the flow cell
overnight at calibration liquid level. Refer to Section 4,
Calibration.
Reset the analyzer. Refer to Section 6, Troubleshooting.
Recalibrate the analyzer. Refer to Section 4, Calibration.
Rinse the flow cell with deionized water. Flush the flow cell
overnight at calibration liquid level. Refer to Section 4,
Calibration.
Flush the analyzer for one hour. Refer to Section 4,
Calibration. If an offline calibration was performed, verify
accuracy of alternate method value. Refer to Section 4,
Calibration.
Replace the reagent. Refer to Section 2, Analyzer Preparation.
Verify the electrode connections to the electrode cables.
Electrodes not properly wired to terminal strip. Refer to
Section 2, Analyzer Preparation.
Make sure electrolyte is flowing properly.
Electrode is shorted, cracked or damaged. Install a new
electrode. Refer to Section 2, Analyzer Preparation.
Reset the analyzer. Refer to Section 6, Troubleshooting.
Recalibrate the analyzer. Refer to Section 4, Calibration.
Recalibrate the analyzer. Refer to Section 4, Calibration.
Check sample status. Perform a span check and if span check
passes, the analyzer is okay.
Try resetting the analyzer. Refer to Section 6, Troubleshooting
or consult Technical Support.
