1. DETERMINE DESIRED MOUNTING METHOD
a. This two in one valance design allows you to easily mount the
sun shade to either a ceiling (fig. 1) or a wall (fig. 2).
2. MARK THE HOLES
a. Measure 2 inches in from each end of the sun shade and mark
for bracket installations.
b. Mark a third location near the center of the sun shade for the
third bracket installation.
c. All marks must be made to ensure a level installation of the sun
shade for proper functionality.
3. INSTALL THE BRACKETS
a. In the marked locations, attach Quick Mount Brackets (fig. 4,
fig. 5) with screws, into wooded stud.
b. The release tabs on the Quick Mount Brackets must be facing
out towards you on the ceiling mount or downwards for a wall
mount. This ensures access to the tabs once the sun shade is
installed.

4. INSTALL THE SHADE

a. Snap the shade onto the Quick Mount Brackets, placing the top
of the channel onto the bracket and pushing on the full valance
until you hear them snap into place.
b. To remove the sun shade, hold in the release tab on the Quick
Mount Bracket. (fig. 6).
Wood screws have been provided. If installing into any material
other than wood, additional screws may be needed. If unsure,
check with a local contractor. (see below)
