SOLAR PANEL MOUNTING OPTIONS
AND RECOMMENDATIONS
1. PRESENTATION
a. By converting solar energy to electrical energy, the solar panel
(Ref: 9019032) charges the battery pack.
b. Current supplied by the panel (Isc): 196 mA +/- 10%
c. Voltage supplied by the panel (Uoc): 21V +/- 10%
d. Power: 3,2W
2. FASTENING THE SOLAR PANEL BY RIVETING
The solar panel should preferably be placed on an open area,
either on a pergola, gazebo, or wall so as to be exposed as
possible to the sun's rays.
a. Ensure that the cables are not damaged during installation.
Smooth the edges of all the drilled holes.
b. Do not put anything on the solar panel that would filter the
sun's rays (ex. paint).
c. Keep the photovoltaic cells clean by cleaning them with clean
water, using a soft cloth to avoid scratching them (once a month).
d. In winter do not allow snow to build up on the panels.
NOTE: The optional extension cable (sold separately) must be
integrated into a UV resistant conduit.
CAUTION! The cables and connectors must be protected from
the shade movement.
