4. Why doesn't the VxComm Driver (PC) receive data from the PDS-
220Fx module?
Make sure that the
module uses the following communication modes:
Transparent Mode (Multi-echo, shared).
/M0
In this mode, data is echoed from the COM ports of the PDS-220Fx
module to each client that is connected to the PDS-220Fx module.
Slave Mode (Single-echo, Non-Shared).
/M1
In this mode, data is echoed from the COM ports of the PDS-220Fx
module to the specific client that requested the service.
In /M1 mode, if the client does not send a request to the COM port of the
module, then the module won't return any data to it. For more information, please refer to
section 5.4
"COM Port
Other reasons causing the problem may be:
IP conflicts, MAC conflicts, an incorrect subnet mask
details, refer to the
Driver/Utility User Manual.
PDS-220Fx
module is operating in mode 0 (/M0). The
