Required Tools

• digital voltmeter
• small phillips screwdriver
• small flatblade screwdriver
• 5/16" Allen wrench

Mounting

1. Set the MEP–1500 in the desired location.
2. Slide the MEP–1500 unit directly on to the
standard 1/2" diameter (13 mm) damper shaft.
See below for adaptor directions.
3. Tighten the two (2) 5/16"–18 set screws (see
diagram)
4. Place the non-rotation bracket (supplied) on the
non-rotation tab.
5. Attach the anti-rotation bracket to the mounting
surface using #8 or #10 self tapping screws (not
included)

How to use the HFO-0011 Adaptor

1. Mount the MEP–1500 actuator over the 3/8 " shaft
2. Slide the HFO-0011 over the shaft into the drive
bushing of the actuator.
3. Align the adaptor slots with the set screws
4. Tighten the set screws.

Wiring

• Wire to "CW", "CCW" and COM terminals as
appropriate.
• DO NOT remove motor leads from terminals and
wire directly to the motor.
• DO NOT connect power directly to motor unless a
terminal strip is used.
