4.2 Maintenance of Indoor Unit

Use the specified non-flammable refrigerant (R410A) to the outdoor unit in the refrigerant cycle.
Do not charge the unit with materials other than R410A, such as hydrocarbon refrigerants
(propane, etc.), oxygen, flammable gases (acetylene, etc.) or poisonous gases when installing,
maintaining and moving the unit. Contamination of these are extremely dangerous and may
cause an explosion, fire, and injury.
NOTE:
During the removal or installation of the parts if the insulation material attached on the cabinet is removed,
then reapply and repair the insulation. Otherwise, condensation may occur when cold air enters.
4.2.1

Removing PCB

(1) Loosen two M4 screws securing the electrical box cover and remove the electrical box cover by lifting
it up.
(2) There are two PCBs, control PCB (PCB1) and power PCB (PCB2). Both PCBs are secured with four
PCB holders. Clamp the center of the PCB holders using a long-nose plier to pull out the PCB.
NOTE:
Do not touch any components on the PCB.
Do not apply excessive force to the PCB or it will cause a malfunction.

TURN OFF all POWER supply switches.
