Press the ON push-button [K1] and with the machine switched on press the PR0GRAI\/1MING/ADJUSTIV1ENT push-
button [K2]. The text "P1" flashes on the display, indicating that you have entered the Programming mode. Set the
temperatures for the TEMPERATURE CYCLE;
-
wait several seconds (5") and the Final Temperature [Tf] appears on the display. Adjust it for the production of granita
by pressing the ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3]. The recommended setting for the production of granita is -
2°C. The adjustment range is from 19 to +30°C;
-
wait several seconds (5") and the text "P2" flashes on the display, then wait until the text "P4" flashes on the display;
-
wait several seconds (5") and the mixer motor operating time [FC] appears on the display (expressed in seconds).
Adjust it by pressing the ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3];
-
wait several seconds (5") and the mixer motor stop time [AC] appears on the display (expressed in seconds). Adjust
it by pressing the ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3].
Production of GRANITA with TEWIPERATURE cycle
When performing the TEMPERATURE CYCLE the machine keeps the granita mixture moving and cools it to the Final
Temperature [Tf], determining the consistency of the product. The cycle must be terminated manually using the appropriate
push-button.
close the cylinder lid;
check and if necessary alter the Final Temperature [Tf] value set (see Programming). The factory setting is -9°C. The
recommended setting for a granita mixture is 2°C;
set the BUZZER time [K6] to activate the buzzer at the end of the cycle;
press the TEMPERATURE CYCLE push-button [K6];
wait until processing has finished, indicated when the Final Temperature [Tf] set has been reached by the
REFRIGERATING SYSTEM [Z7] warning light going out and by the acoustic signal (if set).
press the TEMPERATURE CYCLE push-button [K6] to terminate the cycle and stop the machine;
extract the granita using the MIX command (push-button K7).
AT THE END OF GRANITA PRODUCTION, REMEMBER TO SET THE MIXER MOTOR OPERATING AND
STOP TIMES TO "0", SPECIFICALLY THE VALUES WHICH COME SEVERAL SECONDS AFTER THE
PROGRAMMING TEXT "P4".

When the device is not functioning, the display shows the total whipping time
previously set (in prime minutes);
When the device is in refrigeration/whipping, the display shows the residual whip-
ping time and a flashing spot;
when it shows "oo" (two small squares) it indicates a machine failure:
the lid is not correctly closed;
a safety device has come into operation. See Section 10 - Malfunctions.

Press the ON push-button [K1] and with the machine switched on press the PROGRAMMING/ADJUSTMENT push-
button [K2]. The text "P1" flashes on the display, indicating that you have entered the Programming mode. Set the
temperatures for the TEMPERATURE CYCLE;
N.B.:
after entering the programming mode, the PROGRAMMING/ADJUSTMENT
push-button [K2] is used to
increase the temperature values for the TEMPERATURE CYCLE (P2), the time for the TIME CYCLE (P3)
and the values for the GRANITA (flavoured crushed-ice drink) CYCLE (P4).
wait several seconds (5") for the Final Temperature [Tf] to appear on the display. If necessary, adjust it by pressing the
ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3]. The factory setting is -9°C (suitable for ice cream production). The adjustment
range is from - 1 9 to +30°C;
The Final Temperature U f l must be programmed according to the level of ingredients in the mixture
which prevent freezing (e.g.: sugar or alcohol). For example, WEAK mixtures may reach -5...-6°C,
MEDIUM mixtures -7...-8°C and mixtures RICH in such ingredients -9...-10°C.
wait several seconds (5") and the text "P2" flashes on the display, indicating that you may set the time for the TIME
CYCLE;
wait several seconds (5") and the Batch Freezing Time [M] (in minutes) appears on the display. If necessary, adjust
it by pressing the ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3]. The factory setting is 12'. The adjustment range is from 1'
to 30';
wait several seconds and the text "P3" flashes on the display, indicating that you may set the time for the buzzer. If
you set the time to 0 seconds the buzzer is not activated at the end of the production cycle;
wait several seconds (5") and the text "P4" flashes on the display. At this stage of programming wait several seconds
after the text "P4" appears, then enter the operating time and after a further few seconds the mixer motor stop time,
using the ADJUSTMENT push-buttons [K2] or [K3]. This programming is for the production of granita.
