Connect the external power source to the radio prior to turning on any components of
the system.
Now that we have reviewed the connectivity of each Base System component individ-
ually, let's examine each primary component fully connected, beginning with the Z-
Xtreme receiver.

Fully Connected Z-Xtreme Receiver

A fully connected Z-Xtreme Base receiver will have up to four cable connections, as
shown in Figure 3.13.
