Creating a new project
1. Open Composer:
Start > Programs > DMS8000 > Composer.
In a few seconds, the Projects Management window displays.
Starting the Project Management window
2. Do one of the following:

Select a folder.
-
Create a new folder (using the New command
section).
3. In the Project commands section, click the New command
project.
The New window displays.
4. Enter the project name.
Other functions
Description
Change the server connection. If working in Remote
Composer and/or in Multi-user mode, select this function
to locate the server you want to connect to.
For details on different modes of operation in
Composer, see section Modes of operation [➙ 14].
Note: This function is useful in many scenarios,
depending on the types of subsystems configured.
Examples in special cases are beyond the scope of this
document. Refer to documentation for specific
subsystems.
