Preventive Maintenance
If you have already completed the weekly maintenance,
press "1" to confirm. The current date will be stored in the
report file. See Section 6.3, page 6-7 for more details about
weekly maintenance.
If the weekly maintenance has not been completed, you can
press "2" to indicate that the maintenance will be performed
later. The next time the EZ1 Advanced is switched on, the
reminder screen will appear again.
The screen will continue to appear each time the EZ1
Advanced is switched on, until you press "1" to confirm that
the maintenance has been completed.
The same procedure applies for the annual maintenance.
The annual maintenance reminder screen appears.
When this maintenance reminder appears, call your
QIAGEN Instrument Service Specialist for annual
maintenance. The annual maintenance reminder will appear
every 6 months if the interval was set to "1/2 year" (see
Section 5.10.4, page 5-29).

Servicing
Each EZ1 Advanced is supplied with a one-year warranty that
includes all repairs due to mechanical breakdown.
Worldwide, the maximum time for response to a breakdown
is 5 days. Application development, software upgrades,
worktable accessories, disposable items, and replacement of
