Modem commands

Table 13 lists common modem commands. The modems that are already installed in your computer are compatible
with the Hayes AT command set. All commands in this table must be preceded by the letters AT unless otherwise
indicated.
For example, locate Ds in the Code/Command column of Table 13. To tell your modem to dial a telephone number
using touch-tone dialing, type

Spaces are not required in the commands unless otherwise indicated.
If you purchased a computer with an Mwave adapter card, then not all of the AT commands used by your computer
are listed in this table. Some additional AT commands are listed in the online Mwave Modem help. To view additional
AT commands in the Mwave Modem help, follow these steps:
1.
From your Windows 95 desktop, click on the Start button.
2.
Move your mouse pointer to the Programs menu and then to the Mwave menu.
3.
Click on the Mwave Modem option.
4.
From the Mwave Modem window, click on the Help menu and select the Contents option.
5.
From the Mwave Modem Help window, click on the AT Command Summary option.
