Danger of burns!
Make sure the burners are turned off
and allowed to cool completely.
Make sure the heating elements are
turned off and allowed to cool
completely.
Danger of injury!
The steam from a steam cleaner
could reach electrical components
and cause a short circuit.
Do not use a steam cleaner to clean
the range.
All surfaces can discolor or be
damaged if unsuitable cleaning
agents are used. The front of the
oven, in particular, will be damaged
by oven cleaners and descalers.
All surfaces are susceptible to
scratches. Scratches on glass
surfaces could cause a breakage.
Remove any cleaning agent residues
immediately.

Cleaning and care

Cooktop: Unsuitable cleaning
agents
To avoid damaging the surfaces of your
appliance, do not use:
– Liquid dish soap
– Cleaning agents containing soda,
ammonia, acids, or chlorides
– Cleaning agents containing descaling
agents
– Stain or rust removers
– Abrasive cleaning agents
(e.g., powder cleaners and cream
cleaners)
– Solvent-based cleaning agents
– Dishwasher cleaners
– Grill and oven sprays
– Glass cleaners
– Hard, abrasive brushes or sponges
(e.g., pot scourers, brushes, or
sponges which have been previously
used with abrasive cleaning agents)
– Eraser sponges
– Sharp objects
(so that the seal between the ceramic
glass and the frame, or between the
frame and the countertop, does not
get damaged)
Dry the cooktop thoroughly after every
cleaning to avoid limescale residue.
