Managing Speakers from the Web Application

For increased control over the meeting, the chairman uses the web application to activate microphones and manage voting
sessions. The chairman can manually turn on/off microphones, or simply monitor the list in automatic mode. Using the inter
face, the chairman can easily:
Click on a participant name to turn on the microphone, or add them to the request queue.
View who is speaking and who is waiting their turn to speak
There are four lists on the Chairman View page:
Active speakers List (Red)
Requests (Green)
All participants

Controlling Participant Microphones
The following buttons are available to the chairman for controlling the microphones during a meeting:
The speaker list displays the name and seat number of each active microphone. The list dis
plays in chronological order, with the most recently activated microphone at the top of the
list.
Delegates in this list are next up for speaking. Primarily useful when operating in First In
First Out mode (FIFO), the queue chronologically lists all participants that have pressed their
speak button. Once an opening is available in the speak list, the participant at the top of the
queue list is automatically turned on.
This is a full list of meeting participants. Change seat names, sort the participant list, and
move delegates to the Active speakers or Requests lists.
Choose a voting configuration and click Start. A voting screen automatically displays on all
conference units when the session is started. When a vote is stopped, use the
screen icon to share results to Display View. Non-secret voting results share automatically to
conference units; click the
share icon to share results from secret voting sessions.
