Buttons and functions

1. HEAT MOTOR

Before initial use

1. Wipe the bowl clean with a soft damp cloth.
2. Clean the screw and tower using some warm water mixed with a little
washing-up liquid.
3. Rinse, and dry all parts thoroughly.

Installation

1. Attach the screw to the centre pin.
2. Place the tower over the screw and line up the three fountain-head holes with
the three holes in the tower.
3. Plug the product into a power point. Turn the selector dial to HEAT MOTOR.
Check that the screw rotates and the bowl begins to heat up. Once this action is
successful, turn the dial back to OFF.

Operating instructions

1. Place the product on a level surface and plug it into a power point. Make sure
the dial switch is set to the OFF position.
2. Melt some chocolate in the microwave oven or in water bath (Bain-marie) on
the cooker.
3. Turn the selector dial to the HEAT position, making sure that the indicator light is
also on. It is important to allow the bowl a few minutes to come up to operating
temperature before pouring in the chocolate.
