4.3.2

The precautions on the wiring

This section gives instructions for wiring the power supply.
(1) Wiring of power supply
(a) When voltage fluctuations are larger than the specified value,
connect a constant-voltage transformer.
(b) Use a power supply which generates minimal noise between
wires and between the programmable controller and ground. If
excessive noise is generated, connect an insulating
transformer.

(c) When a power transformer or insulating transformer is
employed to reduce the voltage from 200 VAC to 100 VAC,
use one with a capacity greater than those indicated in the
following table.

(d) Separate the programmable controller's power supply line
from the lines for I/O devices and power devices as shown
below.
When there is much noise, connect an insulation transformer.
(e) Taking rated current or inrush current into consideration when
wiring the power supply, be sure to connect a breaker or an
external fuse that have proper blown and detection.
