6.1.3 Digital Noise Reduction (DNR) Adjustment

Increasing the noise reduction reduces the sound quality. Low or mid level is recommended.
OFF : No DNR processing. This level is useful to demonstrate the actual effect of noise reduction to the customer.
LOW: is used at sites with low to moderate traffic and wind noise. LOW provides clearest level of customer voice quality
and reduces the annoying background wind, hiss and low to moderate mechanical noises.
Noise reduction level -9dB.
MID: is used at sites with moderate to high levels of traffic, wind and mechanical noise such as air conditioning
compressor and aircraft.
Noise reduction level -13dB.
MAX: is used for extreme noise condition and offer the highest level of noise reduction. In MAX some of the customer's
voice qualities are reduced, however the level of noise reduction may be more important than the reduced clarity.
Noise reduction level -15dB.
