Maintenance and servicing

Medical devices must always offer a maximum in safety and function.
We therefore recommend:

6.1 Replacing the fuse

6.2 Regular safety-related controls

The following safety-related controls have to be executed at a minimum all 12 months from persons, who are
able to execute these controls due to their apprenticeship, their knowledge and due to their gained practical
experience. Persons who execute these controls are not subject to any instructions.
▪ Visual inspection of device and accessories on function-related mechanical defects.
▪ Checking the readability of safety-related labellings.
▪ Controlling the melt insert of the miniature fuse on the nominal current and the melting characteristics.
▪ Function control in compliance with the operating instructions.
▪ Measuring the ground wire resistance
▪ Measuring the earth leakage current: NC and SFC
▪ Measuring the patient leakage current: Type BF, NC and SFC
