P4 Setting the Master/Slave Close Interval

1.
Press the button INC or DEC in order to adjust the close interval.
Setting 0 indicates that Master gate and Slave gate will close simultaneously.
The setting 1 indicates that the Master gate will close 1 second after the
Slave gate.
The setting 2 indicates that the Master gate will close 2 seconds after the
Slave gate.
Settings from 0 – 9 are possible. Each time you press the button INC, the
value will increase and when pressing the button DEC, the value will de-
crease. Factory setting is 3 seconds.

Press the button FUNC in order to store the settings.
The display shows P5. The unit is now in the mode "Blocking Force for gate
opener 1".
Attention!
Setting the obstruction sensitivity is very important. Without a properly
adjusted safety reversal system, especially small children or animals could be
seriously injured or killed by a closing gate.
If the obstruction sensitively is adjusted properly, the gate will reverse
automatically as soon as the gate comes into contact with an obstruction.
Based on the length and the weight of the gate it may be necessary to make
force adjustments. The force adjustment should be high enough so that small
objects, such as branches or strong winds will not disturb the function, but low
enough to prevent serious injury to persons or damages to vehicles.
Too much force on the gate will interfere with the proper operation of the
safety reversal system.
Do not increase the force beyond the minimum amount that will be required to
close the gate.
When making new adjustments, the gate must be checked for proper
function. Please also check the reversion (See page 29).

P5 Adjusting the Blocking Force for Gate Opener 1

Press the button INC or DEC in order to start settings.
Factory setting for the sensitivity is 3. Settings from 1 – 9 are possible. Each
time you press the button INC, the value will increase and when pressing the
button DEC the value will decrease.

Press the button FUNC in order to store the settings.
