The kick-down switch is fitted to the floor panel

CLUTCH SWITCH
The clutch switch is located under the clutch
pedal, and is used to detect whether or not the
clutch has been applied . This signal is used
mainly to control the fuel cut-off engine speed
(See page 78), thereby reducing emissions .
