The probe can be calibrated after a run-in period. We recommend that you
repeat the calibration 24 hours later.

Operation

CAUTION
Do not switch off during interval operation of the measuring
system!
After any operation without chlorine, running-in periods are
to be reckoned with. If required, switch on metering unit
time-delayed!
If no chlorine is metered for a longer period, the sensor must
be disconnected from the power supply and stored in a dry
place.

• If installing the sensor abroad, please comply with the
local regulations for calibration periods.
• Carry out a slope test every time the membrane is
changed.

Determine the chlorine content according to the DPD-1 method using an
appropriate instrument for measuring chlorine.
Set the controller/measuring device to the value obtained in accordance
with the operating instructions.
Repeat calibration at regular intervals.
