Yesterday, I noticed that all (10) of my Enphase microinverters are blinking with a yellow/red light. Upon checking my electricity production, I noticed that the system started generating less and less power over the last three months and today they are producing zero wattage. The system shows 240 V but 0.3 Amps. I would appreciate your assistance. Thank you.

When all Enphase M250 microinverters are blinking yellow/red and producing zero wattage, it indicates that the microinverters are not operating normally and cannot produce power because they do not detect the utility grid within the required voltage/frequency specifications. This is a solid fault that requires intervention. Possible causes include a "DC Resistance Low – Power Off" fault or a GFDI fault. Troubleshooting steps involve checking DC and AC voltages, ensuring the PV modules are correctly connected, and confirming that all circuit breakers are in the "ON" position.

  • Page 21: Power Line Communication Issues Between The Envoy & Microinverters

Power Line Communication Issues between the Envoy & Microinverters Enphase Microinverters use a power line transmission protocol at the site for communication with the Envoy. All electrical loads at the premises share this common collection of power lines and circuits, and terminate at the load center, the location of the circuit breakers.

Using a Transformer to Isolate Communication Domains Transformers provide excellent filtering between Enphase communication domains. A 480 V, 600 V, or medium voltage interconnection requires a transformer to step the voltage down to 208/120 Wye. If the project does not require transformers, or if a single, central transformer is selected, then you can filter Envoy communication domains with commercially available power line filters.
