T
O USE IT AS A MULTIFUNCTIONAL PRODUCT
The fax machine is a multifunctional product.
In fact, when connected to a Personal Computer on which spe-
cific communication software (LinkFax) has been installed, it will op-
erate as a black & white and color graphic printer: documents
such as letters, drawings or spreadsheets, created with standard
Windows applications, can thus be printed on the fax machine.
It can also be used as a scanner for acquiring images and docu-
ments on the PC.
Or, with the aid of a PC fax application, for example "WINFAXPRO"
(not provided with the fax machine), it may work as a modem: docu-
ments of all kinds (text and images) can be sent directly from
the PC.
In addition, incoming documents can be saved on the PC, and
subsequently be viewed and processed using standard Windows
applications.
Finally, it supports the transmission and reception of documents as e-
mail attachments, using the Internet channel.
