7.2 - Fitting insertion error

Error Cause
Fittings cannot be The air pressure is too low
inserted or only with
great difficulty
Insertion ram or swing arm is driving
against an object (e.g. swivel stop)
The surface of the work piece is too hard
Drillings are not deep enough
The drilling diameters are too small
The insertion ram has shifted or turned
Drill chips are in the drill holes
Swing arm is not set properly

7.3 - Function errors

Error Cause
Motor does not run Assembly machine is not connected to
the power supply
Assembly machine is not connected to
the air supply
Building fuse has failed
Assembly machine fuse is defective
Main switch is not at position "1" (drilling)
Swing arm is swivelled in
Assembly machine connected to the
wrong voltage
Motor defective
7 - Troubleshooting
Solution
Air pressure must be 5 - 7 bars.
Remove object
Bevel drillings
See point "Drilling depth not reached"
Check drill bits and replace if necessary
Set insertion ram
Remove chips from drillings
Check swing arm setting
Solution
Connect assembly machine to the power
supply
Connect assembly machine to the air supply
Reset fuse or replace
Have fuse replaced by an authorised electri-
cian
Set main switch to position "1"
Swivel up swing arm
Check mains voltage and compare with
motor data. Have checked by authorised
electrician
Have motor replaced by an authorised
electrician
