6.4.2. USB connection for field programming

The XTR features a USB port that allows you to connect a PC to the controller for field programming
and diagnostic parameter download.
Note
Field programmer software is required for field programming features. See XTR field
programmer manual for more information on using the field programmer software.
Note
Do not remove USB cable from computer or controller while connected and transferring.
From the format screen, press
When the USB screen appears, connect a USB cable to the USB port on the controller circuit board
(see 5.8. Electrical connections, page 45 for location of USB port). Connect the other end of the USB
cable to a PC with the field programmer software installed and follow the directions in the XTR field
programmer manual to complete the connection.
Press to return to master settings.
