Transportation
E.g. when moving house
Caution!
Risk of damage to the appliance
caused by detergent/fabric softener
leaking from the dispensers.
Leaking detergent/fabric softener can
prevent the appliance from working
correctly, e.g. due to damage to the
electronics.
Empty the dispensers before
transporting the appliance.
Preparatory work:
Turn off the tap.

Reduce the water pressure in the

supply hose: ~ Page 49; cleaning
and maintenance – filter in the water
supply clogged
Disconnect the washing machine

from the mains.
Drain any residual water:

maintenance – drain pump blocked,
emergency draining
Remove the hoses.

Empty the dispensers. ~ Page 46

Positioning and connecting
Fitting the transportation securing
means:
Remove the covers and keep them

in a safe place.
If required, use a screwdriver.
Insert all four sleeves.

Clip the mains cable securely in the
holders. Insert the transportation
securing bolts and tighten them with
a wrench (WAF 13).
Before switching on the appliance
again:

The transport braces must be

removed.
To prevent unused detergent from

flowing straight into the drain during
the next wash: Pour approx. 1 litre of
water into the left-hand compartment
II, select programme Drain/Empty
and start.
