The procedure below details how to clean the interior of the controller.

Clean the cabinet interior with a vacuum cleaner if
necessary.
The control module is equipped with a heat ex-
changer, it is important that it is clean.
The heat exchanger is located on the rear of the
controller.
Remove the drive module fans and use compressed
air to clean:
• the fans
• the air channels
• the drive unit heat sinks.
• Always use ESD protection.
• Always use cleaning equipment as specified above! Any other cleaning
equipment may shorten the life of paint work, rust inhibitors, signs, or labels!
• Always make sure that all protective covers are fitted to the controller before
cleaning!
• Never remove any covers or other protective devices when cleaning the
outside of the controller.
• Never use compressed air or spray with a high pressure cleaner.
• Never leave the door open when cleaning the exterior.
