TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
Radio will not turn
on (no lights,
no sound)
No sound heard
from unit but unit
lights up
Unit blows fuses
USB Error
System Reset
To restore/reset the unit to factory defaults, remove all power from
the unit, wait 5 minutes and then reconnect power.
Possible Cause
Yellow Constant +12-volt wire
not connected or incorrect
voltage.
Red Ignition/Acc wire not
connected or incorrect
voltage.
Ground wire
not connected
Fuse on Batt+ is blown
Volume turned
all the way down
Internal amp in
protection mode
Wrong source mode selected
Possible short in wiring
Battery hooked up
backwards
Invalid media / device type
Action to Solve
Problem
Check all connections for
proper voltage with a volt
meter. Voltage range:
12-15-volts
Check +12-volt
accessory wire
connection
Check ground
connection
Replace blown fuse
Increase radio volume
Check speaker leads
for any grounded or
shorted wires
Make sure the unit is in the
desired source mode

only fuses with correct 15 amp
