Troubleshooting
Problem
Radio will not
turn on (no
lights, no sound)
No sound heard
from unit but
unit lights up
Unit blows fuses
USB ERR
System Reset
To restore/reset the unit to factory defaults, remove all power from the unit,
wait 2 minutes and then reconnect power.

Possible Cause
12 volt Batt+ wire not con-
nected or incorrect voltage
+12 volt accessory wire
not connected or incorrect
voltage
Ground wire not connected Check ground connection
Fuse on Batt+ is blown
Volume turned all the way
down
Internal amp in protection
mode
Make sure the unit is in
the desired source mode
(AUX,BT Audio, etc)
Possible short in wiring
Battery hooked up back-
wards
Invalid media/device type
Action to Solve Problem
Check all connections for
proper voltage with a volt
meter. Voltage range: 12-15
volts
Check +12 volt accessory
wire connection
Replace blown fuse
Increase radio volume
Check speaker leads for any
grounded or shorted wires
Check to make sure that unit
is in desired source mode
Incorrect fuse used, make
sure only fuses with correct
15 amp ratings are used /
Check all wiring connections
for possible short
Make sure battery is prop-
erly connected
