In the gateway version 2.0, the DIP switch configuration has changed from the
version 1.03.03, see Fig. 3.3.3.3.-2 for the new ON-OFF direction.
Description
This interface type is supported by most protection relays
This interface type is used for powering additional
adapters, such as SPA-ZC 21(RS-485/TTL to optical
converter for the SPA bus)
This interface type is supported for example by the SPAJ
140 C protection relay
DIP switch B1 is not connected
This interface type is necessary when configuring the
gateway and is also supported by some protection
relays.
DIP switch A1 puts the gateway into configuration mode.
This switch must be ON whenever communication is
required between PCT and the gateway. When this
switch is ON, the RS-232 interface type shall also be
selected
