Chapter 2 Convenient Features

System BIOS

You can check and change the parameters using the BIOS Setup utility (SETUP).
1.1

Starting SETUP

Turn on the server and proceed with POST.
After a while, the following message appears at the bottom left of the screen.
Press <F2> SETUP, ... (* a different message may appear depending on the environment)
If you press <F2>, SETUP will start after POST, and the Main menu appears.

Parameter Descriptions

The SETUP utility has the following six major menus.
Main menu
Advanced menu
Security menu
Server menu
Boot menu
Save & Exit menu
These menu has submenus for relevant items. Selecting submenus allows you to configure further detailed
parameters.

If Maintenance Mode is enabled, pressing the <F2> key does not launch SETUP, and the
Boot Selection menu appears. In addition, a message "The system is in Maintenance
Mode." is displayed instead of a message "Press <F2> SETUP, ...".
