Flow of System Diagnostics

8.2.1 Starting System Diagnostics

Run System Diagnostics in the following procedure.
1. Insert TeDoLi media (system diagnostic tool) provided with the server into CD/DVD drive of the server
or CD/DVD drive connected to the server via remote media feature and reboot the system.
2. To boot from TeDoLi media, enter BIOS SETUP and select DVD form BOOT Option#1 in the BOOT
menu. Then select Save & Exit menu, system is rebooted.
If the "Maintenance Mode" is set to "Enable", the following screen is displayed. Select a
drive where TeDoLi media is inserted.
3. When the system starts, enter the boot option. Specify the console used for system diagnostics after
"ELILO boot:". When the system starts without entering the boot option, system diagnostics is
performed on SOL screen.
