3.12 EXTENDED STORAGE

Refer to the following steps for storage of the machine
over any long period of shutdown time:
A. Follow the cleaning and sanitizing procedures
for the machine and follow the semi-annual
instructions to sanitize the autofi ll system.
B. Press the Main Power On/Off button so that power
to the machine is off.
C. Disconnect (unplug) from the electrical supply
source.
D. Thoroughly clean all parts that come in contact
with mix. Rinse in clean water and dry parts. Do
not sanitize.
Do not leave cleaning solution in the hopper or in
the freezing cylinder during the shutdown period.
E. Remove, disassemble and clean the front door,
mix inlet regulator and auger parts.
