Please familiarise yourself with these instructions and the User Manual (Model SHARK) before
installing the service lift. Ensure that all specified parts are present before commencing installation.

to ensure their completeness and full
functionality.
1. Fitting the wires

1.1 Tower top

Wire lengths depend on the tower height and
should be specified when ordering. The coils are
marked with their length; check for accuracy prior
to mounting. Do not pull wire over any edges.

Uncoil correctly (Fig. 5a).
Warning!
Do not pull wire over edges.
Important!
Place all wire coils on the top platform when
tower is raised or use the tower mounting
crane to place the wires on the top platform
before nacelle is mounted. (It may also be
possible to use the internal tower crane to
hoist wires).

Prior to installation of the suspension
system, ensure that the building sections
involved will be able to carry the load.
1) Mount the Ø0.47 in (Ø12 mm) guide wire ropes
and the Ø0.33 in (Ø8.4 mm) traction and safety
wire ropes using the shackles supplied for the
suspension beam at the top of the tower, with the
guide wire rope outermost on either side.
2) Fit the nuts and bolts. Lock with cotters.
3) Fit the top limit device (bar) on the guide wire
ropes leaving at least 7.9 in (200 mm) between bar
and shackle (See Fig. 5).
4) Feed all wire ropes to the bottom of the tower
(See Fig. 5).
