8. Manual operation
(EMERGENCY)
If a power failure or an operation fault etc. interrupts
the lift, a manual EMERGENCY descent is possible.

8.1 EMERGENCY descent

a) Check that the fall arrest device is deactivated.
b) Visually check that there are no obstacles in the
cabin's travel path.
c) Open the hatch by pushing the lid in the roof and
operate the lift from above.
d) Pull the lever upwards to release the
electromagnetic motor brake in the traction
system (Fig.17). The service lift moves
downwards. The built-in centrifugal force brake
limits the pace of descent.
e) Stop pulling the lever upwards to stop the
manual descent.
