When installing the modem, find an area where there are enough electrical outlets for the modem,
the main computer, and your other computer devices.
To setup the modem:
1. Plug one end of the Ethernet cable from the modem's ETHERNET port and then plug the other
end into computer's ethernet port.
2. Plug one end of the telephone cable to the modem's DSL port and then plug the other end
into the phone jack.

Your phone line carries with it both phone calls and Internet signals. When you are using the Internet,
the connection produces high-pitched tones that can affect your voice calls when using the phone.
Installing a Plain Old Telephone Service (POTS) splitter separates the two signals and eliminates the
noise.

1. Locate the phone jack in your house.
2. Insert the POTS Splitter into the phone jack.
3. Plug one end of the telephone cable from the POTS Splitter's TEL port and then plug the other
end into the telephone.
4. Connect the power adapter to modem's power jack then plug it into an electrical outlet.
5. Press ON.
