Correct the cause of the fault as specified in the remedial measures section. Repair any
damage to the machine.

Remedial measures
Establish the cause and realign the parts.
Switch the cooling water supply on.
Decouple the rotor and then rebalance it.
Consult the manufacturing plant.
Align the machine set and check the coupling.
Rebalance the coupled machine.
Examine the coupled machine.
Fix the gearing.
Stabilize the foundation following consultation.
Determine the cause of the changes and, if
necessary, rectify. Realign the machine.
Locate the non-watertight section and seal it or
consult the manufacturer.
