Electrical faults

Note
When operating the machine with a converter, please also refer to the operating instructions
of the frequency converter if electrical faults occur.
NOTICE
Damage to the machine caused by faults
Correct the cause of the fault as specified in the remedial measures section. Repair any
damage to the machine.

Overload

Remedial measures
Reduce the load.

Check frequency converters and supply
cables.
Check the setting at the frequency converter
and perform the automatic motor
identification.
Determine the winding and insulation
resistances. Carry out repair work after
consultation with manufacturer.
Check the cooling water connection. Switch
on the cooling water supply.
Locate the non-watertight section and seal it
or consult the manufacturer.
Increase the cooling water flow rate.
Set the correct upstream temperature.
