9.2 Repair
Separating the speed encoder
The following options are available to separate the speed encoder from the shaft by means
of a clamping screw:
● Disassembling the speed encoder - Version A
● Disassembling the speed encoder - Version B
Mounting the speed sensor
1. Screw the torque arm to the speed sensor, tighteing the two screws by hand.
2. Secure the speed encoder with the M5x50 screw over the internal cone with a tightening
3. Secure the torque arm to the end shield with a tightening torque of 3 Nm.

– Unscrew screw M5x50 (①).
– In succession, screw in the M5x10 and M6x70 screws. This releases the encoder
cone in the motor shaft (②).
– Remove the speed encoder.
– Loosen the retaining screw (①).
– Using the M10 screw, assert pressure on the original screw. This will then drop out
(②).
– Remove the speed encoder.
torque of 5 Nm at the shaft extension.
