3.5.3 Installation of Optional Components

(1) Extension Memory Installation
Note! • You must use genuine Oki Original. Otherwise, the memory will not work.
• For banner-sheet printing, use of additional memory of more than 256MB is
recommended.
• The slot for memory is one slot.
• d-Color P116 additional memory (256MB/512MB) is interchangeable with the memory of
other PDL (C9650/C6150/C5950/C710/etc ) .
Switch the power supply of the printer off and pull out the electric cord.
Note! If installed with the switch on, an electric shock or a trouble to the printer may occur.
Open the top cover.
Eliminate static electricity by touching a screw.
