Sensors

Sensors, identified in Table 2, are connected to the wiring harnesses.
The sensors measure engine parameters and supply input to the ECU. The ECU uses this data to
control operation of the engine through actuators.

Description
Both sensors are contained in one housing
and have a single output connector.
They redundantly measure the throttle angle.
Measures the pressure drop across the
venturi.
Measures the speed and position of the
crankshaft.
Measures the speed and position of the
camshaft.
Monitors oil temperature immediately after
the oil filter downstream of the oil cooler
return.
Measures the temperature of air before the
throttle.
Redundantly measures the MAT.
Redundantly measures the MAT.
Measures the temperature of the fuel in the
fuel rail.
Measures the Cylinder Head Temperature
(CHT).
Measures the Exhaust Gas Temperature
(EGT) of each respective cylinder.
Measures the average temperature of the
exhaust gas entering the turbocharger turbine.
Monitors oil pressure immediately after the
oil filter and before the pressure regulator.
Measures fuel pump outlet pressure for the
EECS to calculate the pressure drop across
the engine fuel filter.
Measures fuel rail pressure.
Redundantly measures the induction air deck
pressure.
Redundantly measures the induction air deck
pressure.
