Operation & Filter Maintenance
The following section describes Hood operation, Filter maintenance, and other general care activities.
4-01.
Hood Operation
Confirm that all Filters are in place and properly seated before attempting to operate the hood. The Filter Access
Door must be in place and secure. NOTE: The hood will NOT start if the Filter Access Door is not installed or
not properly positioned.

Starting the Hood (Regular)
1. Place Power Switch
2. The green Hood Powered light
3. The Hood fan will start.
4. The EAC status ON LED
5. The amber Appliance Powered light
indicates that power is being supplied to the appliance under the
hood; it is now ready for use.
6. Should an audible alarm sound, any other indicator lights turn on,
and/or if the Appliance Powered light does not turn on, refer to
Troubleshooting Sections of this Manual.

Starting the Hood (ILS Model)
1. Place the Power Switch
2. Press and hold the Push to Start Button
