Error indicators and warnings
When you load an unplayable disc or fail to perform operations properly, the following
messages are displayed on the unit and the TV screen.
Display
! Disc is not carried.
CHECK CARRY
Try the operation again.
! Changer drum cam is not moved.
CHECK D**
Try the operation again.
! Disc tray is not locked.
CHECK LOCK
Try the operation again.
! Changer mode cam is not moved.
CHECK M**
Try the operation again.
! Changer shutter is not closed.
CHECK SHUT
Try the operation again. (*)
! Place the unit away from noise source or plug the AC power
DSP NG
cord to another AC outlet. (*)
! The unit considers the DVD mechanism is defective.

! The amplifier is defective.

Set this unit to the stand-by mode and turn the power on
again. (*)
! Disc is not carried. (*)
ERROR CARRY
! Changer initial error. (*)
ERROR D**
! Disc tray is not locked. (*)
ERROR LOCK
! Changer initial error. (*)
ERROR M**
! The cooling fan on the back of the amplifier unit does not run
FAN LOCK
due to foreign objects caught in it.
Set this unit to the stand-by mode and remove the foreign ob-
jects around the fan.
! The disc is not loaded.
NO DISC
! The disc is loaded with the label side toward you.
! The digital audio input jack is not connected properly.
No Signal
! Unspecified signal is received and cannot be recognized.
(*): Set the main unit to the stand-by mode and turn the power on again, or unplug and
plug it back in. Should the same message appear, contact your local dealer where
you purchased the unit.
