" Playback

! For a wide-screen TV, set the video output to "Wide" (see page 48).
! Turn on the TV, and switch the input to the "VIDEO 1", "VIDEO 2", etc. according-
ly.

Press the POWER button to turn the power on.

Press the button to set the input to
"DVD".
You can also use the STOP button on the main
unit.

Insert a disc (see pages 22, 23).

Press the DISC SELECT button, set the
MODE 1/MODE 2 switch to MODE 1 and
press the DISC 1 - DISC 5 button.
Alternatively, press one of the DISC 1 - DISC 5
buttons on the main unit.

Press the button.
! When the top menu (for DVD) is open, select an item with the cursor buttons
and press the button again.
! You can also use the PLAY button on the main unit.
! The main unit stops after playing a disc and does not switch to discs automatical-
ly.
! When "ALL DISC REP" is selected for audio CD playback, the next disc plays af-
ter a disc ends.
! When the unit is left unoperated for more than 5 minutes after pressing the
(STOP) button, a screen saver appears.
Press any button on the main unit or remote control. The startup screen returns.
! To play other discs during playback, select a disc number and press the
button.
