OPERATION OF ELLIPTICAL TRAINER CONTINUED
** When the WATT is over spec, the computer beeps to remind you. If you keep
training under this mode for over one minute, an ALARM beep sounds for 30
seconds, and the computer system STOPS automatically. At this time, resistance is
down to 1, and preset WATT data is zero. During the ALARM period, you can stop
ALARM by pressing any function button.
"PULSE" will begin to blink. Press the ▼▲ buttons to set up pulse in increments of
1. The default pulse setting is 30 BPM and the range is 30-240 BPM. Press MODE
to confirm pulse setting. The unit will beep when the preset pulse setting is reached.
If you do not set pulse, the pulse display will indicate your current heart rate (pulse)
when you grasp the contact heart rate bars. If you use the upper handrails instead of
the contact heart rate bars, the pulse display will show the letter "P" instead of your
heart rate.
Press START/STOP to begin your workout. You can adjust the resistance level at
any time by pressing the ▼▲ buttons.
Press START/STOP again to pause. With time paused you can make changes to
time, distance, calories and pulse if you wish.
2. PROGRAM - Press ▼▲ until PROGRAM appears at the top of the display. "P" and
"PROGRAM" will be blinking. Press MODE to confirm PROGRAM. There are 12
program profiles to choose from. Press the ▼▲buttons to sequence through the 12
programs. You will see P1 through P12, each followed by a graphical view of the
actual program profile as shown below. Press MODE to confirm the PROGRAM that
you have selected. Once you have selected a program profile you can then change
the resistance level, time, distance, calories and pulse if you wish as described
above for MANUAL PROGRAM.
