MPR30-ENG works with standard camera battery:

The receiver can be used also during the batteries charging with batteries inside.
Don't use the receiver without batteries . The receiver powered thru micro-USB or mini-XLR
connector (MRP30-ENG-5PW model) without batteries doesn't work correctly.
For MPR30-ENG-5BY
The receiver can be used also without batteries inside.
DO NOT operate the device with some new and some old batteries. Always replace
ALL BATTERIES.
Remember to remove the batteries if the device
