Positioning Tailstock
Optional: To precisely secure the tailstock, mount
a ⁄ " drive torque wrench in the square drive

shown in Figure 38, then tighten the tailstock to
40 lb/ft of torque. The center point will be drawn
down as much as 0.006". Do not exceed the max
torque or damage to ways and tailstock will occur.
