Gully assembly See the installation & maintenance instructions provided with the gully. These parts are not supplied: Cable, to connect pump to controller (HO5VV-F2 2.5 mm IP55 cable connector, suitable for 2.5 mm cable. Screws and raw plugs, to mount the pump bracket. 22 mm pipework, for pump connection.

1 LOCATION 1.11 The controller assembly is a class II appliance which must be located outside the bathroom, and within a dry area. It must be positioned at a distance no further than 3 metres away from the shower gully, to allow the gully switch wire to be connected.
3 INSTALLATION Fig. 6 Fig. 5 3.11 Pump to be mounted as shown in Fig. 5, and to be against a solid wall, to limit vibration. 3.12 Use formed bends or 2 x 45 bends as shown in Fig. 6 and keep to a minimum.
4 ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION 4.11 Regulations: The electrical installation must be carried out in accordance with the current national electrical regulations and installed by a qualified person. 4.12 Safety: In the interests of electrical safety a 30 mA. residual current device (R.C.D. not supplied) should be installed in the supply circuit. This may be part of a consumer unit or a separate unit.
5 PIPE CONNECTIONS AND FINAL ASSEMBLY 5.11 The pump can now be assembled onto the bracket, and the pipe connections completed as shown in Fig. 11. 5.12 The 22 mm fitting (L) must be assembled as shown. Fit the nut over the pipe, then push the grab ring, washer and seal onto the pipe until the end of the seal is level with the end of the pipe.

It is recommended that the gully is cleaned at least every 3 months, to remove hair, soap and scale deposit, as follows: A more frequent maintenance may be required depending on usage. This procedure covers all Stuart Turner gullies - images used for reference only. Fig. 12 1.

These instructions cover four different styles of gully - SWP 52 (41453), SWP 90 (41454), SWP SF (41455), SWP TF (41456) 1. These gullies are only to be used with the Wasteflo shower waste pump and controller and must be installed by a competent plumber or specialist flooring contractor.

SWP TF - Tiled floor gully - Part No. 41456 Grating Note: The minimum dimensions between the Gully Flange and top surface of Gully Gully tile Tile or Grating (which requires to be flush with finished flooring) is 13 mm. This dimension cannot be reduced but if required the Gully Tile or Grating can be raised.
IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THIS PROCEDURE SHOULD BE CARRIED OUT AT LEAST EVERY 3 MONTHS. HOWEVER, MORE FREQUENT MAINTENANCE MAY BE REQUIRED DEPENDING ON USAGE. Note: This procedure covers all Stuart Turner Gullies – images used for reference only 1. Using ‘Hook’ provided remove central Grill from Gully, clean the Grill and rinse with fresh water (Fig 11).
