3.2.2 Resetting the patient ID issuance
This function automatically issues a patient ID when a new study is initiated.
User Utility is responsible for performing this function.

When issuing a patient ID automatically with the examination order issuance function, see [3.3
Issuing Examination Orders].
How to issue a patient ID complies with what is determined by the setting performed at installation.
When the patient ID issuance format includes "User-specified character string" or "Automatic
increment", necessary values can be set up as follows. The values thus set up will remain effective
for a patient ID to be issued the next.

Edit values as necessary and select
